void is a little orb that floats on your desktop and gets claude code to do your coding for you, out loud.
say “hey void” and ask for something. he turns your voice into text on your own computer, so it never leaves it. then claude code does the work in your project while he holds up a tiny terminal so you can watch. before he runs a command he asks first: say yes, no or always.
he has moods. his face follows what he's saying, he gets sleepy when you leave him alone, he purrs when you pet him and he dodges if you click him too much. push him into a screen edge and he melts into a notch.
for big jobs he sends out helpers: little voids that bud off him, orbit while they work and fold back in when they're done. then he tells you what they found.
he has eleven skins and any colours you like, or he can pick random ones. he's free and open source, and runs on windows, macos and linux. you need claude code.

downloadrun VoidSetup.exe and wait a few minutes while it sets up his voice and hearing, then find void in your start menu. no admin needed. if windows says “protected your pc”, click more info, then run anyway.

downloadopen Void.dmg and drag void into applications (apple silicon, m1 or newer). it isn't notarized by apple, so the first launch is blocked: open system settings, privacy & security, and click open anyway next to void.
